Love this one, looks great.

Love the style. Love the print. Very flattering

This romper/swim suit can be worn in the water or just an outside function. Bee comfortable and try to size.

Love this bathing suit print and style. Very flattering for a woman my age. Love animal print. Great material. Received many compliments.

Best suit i ever bought, the fit was great, and it looked nice on, i wore it on my cruise to Bermuda, i will order again next year

The honest answer is that age is the least useful filter available, and using it as the starting point is what produces a wardrobe of suits nobody enjoys wearing. Proportion, bust support and torso length decide how a suit sits, and none of the three has a birthday attached.
What does change with time is the list of things you want the suit to handle — sun on the shoulders, how easy it is to get into, whether the color survives a season, whether you can swim properly in it. Choose on those and the shape follows. Our flattering cuts work the same way, from the body outward rather than the label inward.
Three decades get bundled into one aisle, and the priorities in them are genuinely different.
Bust support is usually the thing that changes first, and it changes faster than dress size does. A soft shelf lining that worked for years stops holding, and the fix is construction rather than a smaller size — a firm underband, a shaped cup, or the wire in our underwire styles.
Skin on the chest and shoulders takes sun differently, and the shoulders are where it lands hardest. A wider strap, a higher back or a high neck cut covers the exposed area without adding a layer to carry around.
Getting in and out of the suit starts to matter as much as how it looks in it. Wide-set straps, a lower back and an adjustable shoulder all make the garment easier to manage, and the difference between an easy suit and an awkward one decides how often it gets worn.
Adjust the straps before you judge the suit. Almost every complaint about a one piece digging, gaping or sliding traces back to a strap set an inch off, and it is the one adjustment that changes the fit of the whole garment.
The reason it matters this much is structural. On a one piece, whatever the underband does not hold is carried by two narrow strips over the shoulders — so a strap that is too tight puts the full load onto a thin edge of skin, and one that is too loose lets the front drop and the leg openings ride up. Width helps, adjusters help more, and a crossed or racerback layout spreads the same load across a larger area. One piece swimsuits for women over 50 with tummy control are worth checking twice on this point, since a firmer front pulls harder on the straps than a soft one does.
There is no rule that says coverage should go up with age, and plenty of the best-loved suits on this shape go the other way. A swim dress and a plain scoop back are both entirely reasonable choices for the same afternoon.
Decide by what you are doing. Proper swimming favors a close body and a secure strap layout; a long lunch by the pool favors a skirt or a full coverage cut; traveling light favors a dark solid that dries fast and hides everything. Our retro styles sit in the middle of all three, which is why they keep coming back.
The idea worth dropping altogether is that a lower leg opening is the polite choice past a certain age. A leg opening changes the line of the leg and nothing else, and the higher cuts lengthen it. Try both in the changing room before deciding which one you actually prefer, rather than which one you assume is expected of you.
