Love love love this one!!! Fits great, looks great on, comfortable to wear. Got loads of compliments wearing it!

Very nice bikini. Exactly as shown on the photo. Has to returnit as it did not look on me.

Love the swimsuit normally would wear a medium but I bought a large and it's perfect

Perfect

My absolute favorite suit. I ordered 2 more just the same so I can have this one to wear for years to come.

Two separate pieces with a bare midriff between them — that is the whole definition, and it is looser than most people expect. Bikini swimsuits run from a string triangle over a tie-side brief to a structured underwire top over a bottom that reaches the navel, and neither end is more of a bikini than the other.
What changes along that range is how much the suit is asked to do. A minimal cut is decorative and relies on the wearer staying fairly still; a structured one is built to carry weight and stay in place through a proper swim. Both are sold as bikini swimwear, so the construction tells you far more than the name on the listing.
The name also travels. Browse bathing suits and a bikini sits beside one-pieces and tankinis; in Australia the same garment is a bathers bikini, and in Britain it is filed among bikinis and swimming costumes. The questions worth asking about it stay identical wherever it is bought: how the top holds, how high the bottom sits, and how both behave wet.
Whoever wants to, should — at 40, at 60 or at any age between and beyond. The more useful question is which construction to look for, because that is what decides whether the suit is comfortable enough to forget about, and comfort, more than cut, is what makes anyone look at ease in swimwear.
Three features do the work. A structured cup with underwire carries weight properly instead of relying on a knot. A wide adjustable strap spreads that weight across the shoulder rather than cutting one line into it. And a bottom with genuine rise — a high waisted cut rather than a low string — sits at the natural waist and stays there when you sit, stand or swim.
Get those three right and the suit stops demanding attention. If you would rather keep the two-piece shape with more fabric across the middle and hip, full coverage bikinis use the same construction with a deeper top and a fuller bottom.
Look closely at the tops that still hold up after a season of wear and a pattern emerges: almost all of them are underwire or molded. The unlined triangle photographs well and struggles with the two jobs a bikini top has — holding the bust and staying in position through movement.
The underband is what carries the weight, not the straps. This is the most useful single fact about buying any bikini top, and it is counterintuitive. When a top creeps upward across your back through the afternoon, the culprit is a slack band — and taking the whole size up compounds it instead of curing it. Tighten the band first. Still moving? Drop a band size and add a cup size.
Straps are secondary support, which is why width matters more than adjustability alone. A thin strap on a firm band works. A wide strap on a loose band does not.
Three things are visible in a photograph: a band that looks wider than the straps, a cup with a defined edge rather than a flat panel, and a wire line along the underside. Those predict how a top behaves better than the description does.
The most practical decision on a bikini, and the one nobody frames as a decision.
A tie adjusts to you, which is why so much of the category uses them — one garment fits a wider range of people. What a tie also does is loosen. Every knot works itself open a little across a day, and tying it harder to compensate is what leaves marks behind the neck.
A fixed band with a hook or slider holds its setting instead. It asks for a more accurate size, since there is nothing to compensate with, but it stays where you put it through swimming and climbing out. If a top has ever traveled upward on you, that is the change that fixes it rather than a different size.
Most people start with nice bikini sets, where the top and bottom share a fabric and a print and the decision is made once. A set is the quickest route to something coordinated and the easiest to pack: one pair, one bag, nothing to match on the morning of a trip.
Separates suit anyone who already knows what works on one half. Start from the top if support is the concern — triangle, halter and bralette shapes each hold differently — and from the bikini bottoms if coverage below the waist decides it.
For a full day out, treat the bikini as beachwear as well as swimwear. A light layer over the top takes it from the sand to lunch without a change, and a sarong tied at the hip does the same for the lower half while packing into almost nothing.
