This swimsuit knocks it out of the park. If you are busty, this holds everything in place. The skirt hides stomach issues and is very flattering. A suit I don't mind being seen in. It is the perfect bathing suit!

This swimsuit looks a young and not old fashioned like a lot of swim dresses. Comfortable and cover all lumps and bumps

This is a u ique swimsuit and stands out. Lots if compliments.

This bath suit is really nice. Material is good quality.

Swimming puts a suit through something a changing room never does, and a fuller bust makes the difference larger. Water adds buoyancy at the chest and drag everywhere else, so a front that felt secure standing up can lift and shift the moment you push off.
Two checks on dry land catch almost everything. Raise both arms straight overhead and hold: if the underband lifts off your ribs, it is too loose and the straps are doing work they cannot sustain. Then bend forward from the waist and look down: if the cups gap at the top edge, the cup is too large for the band even when the size on the label is right.
In the water, the stroke matters more than most listings admit. Overhead strokes pull the straps outward with every rotation, which is what turns a parallel strap layout into a shoulder that keeps slipping. A crossed or racerback layout removes the problem rather than managing it, and it is worth prioritizing over every other feature if you swim properly rather than stand in the shallow end.
These two words get typed interchangeably and they describe different measurements. Busty is about volume at the chest — the difference between your bust and your underbust. Curvy is about the relationship between bust, waist and hip, and someone can be markedly curvy with a modest cup size or busty with very little waist definition at all.
The reason it matters is that the two send you to different features. Volume at the chest is solved by the support construction: band, cup and wire. A pronounced difference between bust and hip is solved by the cut of the body and the leg opening, which is where our plus size range and our flattering styles are more useful than anything on this page. Product titles for one piece bathing suits for women with large breasts cover both cases at once, so what the description says about the band tells you more than the heading does.
A one piece has a structural advantage here that a two-piece cannot copy, and almost nothing explains it. Because the garment is continuous, the load at the bust does not stop at a band — it carries down through the body panel and back up to the shoulders, so the whole front of the suit is part of the support system.
That gives three places to look instead of one. Width is what makes an underband comfortable, and a wide one carries most of the load on its own. A shaped cup holds the front's outline whether the fabric is wet or dry, which is what stops the chest flattening under a plain panel. And the back completes the circuit — a higher back or a crossed strap turns two shoulder points into a continuous loop, and our criss cross styles are built on exactly that. Wire, where it appears, adds a fixed perimeter under the bust and is the one feature that reliably lifts rather than compresses; see our underwire cuts.
Listings split into two systems and they are not equally useful. A suit sold in dress sizes has one cup shape scaled across the whole range, so the fit at the bust is whatever falls out of the grading. A suit sold by cup — D, DD, and the range described as one piece swimsuit DDD cup and above — is drafted with the cup as its own measurement, and that is the difference you can feel.
Three phrases in a description are worth more than any photograph: a named cup range, an adjustable strap, and a wide or boned underband. Where none of them appear, the safest reading is that the suit was not drafted with a fuller bust in mind, whatever the size chart goes up to. Our push up styles sit at the other end of this scale and are a useful contrast to look at.
