Love it.

Just beautiful.

Absolutely love this swimsuit. Color is perfect and is so comfortable.

Really cute and true to size. I think the top would sit a little nicer if I was more gifted in that area but overall measurements are exactly as advertised

Love the colors and it fits great!

This is the thing a two piece can do that no single garment can. A one piece sets one level of exposure for the whole body: choose a plunge and you have chosen a plunge, with whatever leg line came attached to it.
A tankini splits that in half. A deep neckline over a full brief reads as confident rather than as bare, because the eye has somewhere to settle. A modest top over a high-cut leg does the same trick in reverse. Both combinations are unavailable in a single garment and both are easier to wear than the all-in version.
The practical version of the advice: pick the half you want to draw attention to and keep the other one quiet. Two revealing halves at once is the combination people buy and then leave in a drawer.
Very little of this comes from having less fabric. It comes from where the fabric stops.
A plunge takes the neckline down between the cups while leaving the sides intact, which is why it works on a fuller bust where a wide scoop does not. A cut-out at the waist removes a band of fabric at the narrowest point and reads as a waist definition rather than as exposure. An open back changes everything from behind and nothing from the front, which makes it the least demanding of the three to wear.
Side cut-outs on a tankini deserve a note of their own. On a longer top they sit where the body is widest rather than narrowest, so the placement matters far more than it does on a cropped shape. High and small works; low and wide rarely does.
The gap between what looks good in a mirror and what you are comfortable in for six hours is wider in this category than anywhere else on the rail, and it is worth being deliberate about which one you are shopping for.
A useful filter: picture standing up from a lounger, walking past other people to get a drink, and sitting back down. Anything you would adjust on that walk is a photograph garment. Anything you would not is one you will actually wear, and it is usually a slightly quieter version of the same cut.
This is where the two-piece structure pays off again. A top you feel confident in, over a bottom you never think about, is a combination you can assemble on purpose — and it beats a single garment that pushes hard in both halves and gets worn once.
Structure is the whole answer here, and it is the part descriptions skip in favor of adjectives. A neckline can only go as low as the construction underneath it allows, and everything below that point is guesswork.
The lower the front, the more the structure has to come from underneath and from the sides, because there is nothing across the chest to help. A wired top does it properly; a shelf bra in a deep plunge is mostly decorative.
Look for cups that are separated and shaped rather than a single panel with a gap cut into it, and for a band that is wide at the sides even if it narrows at the center. That side width is what stops a plunge from spreading outward when you move.
Below, a high waisted bottom under a deep top is the pairing that fails least often, and sets that arrive matched have usually had that balance settled already.
