Fit perfectly and looks good in the water

Fits nice, good quality

I absolutely love this suit. The fit was spot on and does not fade. I highly recommend it.

Great Fit-true to size; shipped in a timely manner

This is a gorgeous suit, exactly as described! The fit is perfect, flattering, vibrant color. Love it!

Plenty of swimwear looks covered standing still and stops being covered the moment it is wet. A loose tunic floats. A wide neckline gapes forward when you lean. A skirt panel with too much sweep lifts. None of that shows in a photograph.
What holds is coverage that is built into the cut rather than added on top. A neckline that is high because the pattern is drawn high, not because a panel was stitched over a lower one. A body that is fitted through the ribcage so it cannot ride. A leg with a proper elastic finish rather than a raw hem.
The check that catches most of it takes one movement: raise both arms and bend forward. Anything that moves on land will move a great deal more in water.
A two piece reaching full coverage sounds contradictory and is not. The top runs long, the bottom runs high, and the two overlap by an inch or two across the middle — which covers exactly as completely as a single garment while still coming apart when you need it to.
Below the waist there are three routes and they cover progressively more. A high waisted brief covers the stomach and leaves the thigh. Shorts take it to mid-thigh. A skirt panel covers hip and thigh from every angle while you stand and relies on the brief underneath once you swim.
Above the waist, a high neck top closes the chest and collarbone, and a sleeve is what covers the shoulder and upper arm. The two are commonly confused: a high neck does nothing at all for the arms.
Lining is the first thing to establish and the thing most listings mention last. A fully lined front is the baseline for anything you plan to swim in rather than sit in, and a second lining layer is what a description means when it says double lined. Neither costs much and both are the difference between a suit that stays covered and one that only looks covered while it is dry.
Coverage is not only a question of how much skin sits under fabric. It is also whether that fabric stays opaque once it is wet, and this is where a great deal of otherwise well-covered swimwear quietly fails.
Pale colors carry the risk and white is the extreme case. What keeps them opaque is lining rather than the outer cloth — a double-lined front, a bonded panel, or simply a heavier knit. The product description is the only place this gets stated, and a pale listing that never mentions lining is worth reading as an answer in itself.
Texture helps as well. A ribbed or crinkled surface scatters light and holds opacity better than a flat one of the same weight, which is why so many higher-coverage styles arrive in textured fabric rather than plain jersey.
Anyone dressing for full coverage is dressing for a day where changing in public is awkward by definition. That is exactly the situation a two piece handles better than a one piece: the top comes off over the head and the bottom stays on, so a cubicle or a bathroom stops being a planning exercise.
It also lets the coverage be chosen in two places rather than one. Plenty of people want a high neck and a plain brief, or a modest hem and a bare shoulder, and a single garment forces both decisions together. Buying the halves apart means each answers to what you actually want covered.
