I’ve spent time looking at how this cyan tankini behaves on a 5’6” size 12 body, and here’s what matters: the top is cut with a relaxed, blouson hem that leaves air between the fabric and your belly. You don’t have to suck in. The drawstring at the waist lets you adjust the gathering, and the double straps give enough hold without digging in.
The fabric is 82% nylon and 18% spandex, so it feels like a smooth second skin with a bit of spring. When wet, it doesn’t sag as much as cheaper polyester blends. The random floral print is printed on the surface, so follow the wash care: rinse in cool water after swimming and skip the dryer. That keeps the colors from turning hazy.
For a D cup, the built-in padded cups offer light shaping, but this is not a high-impact sports bra. If you plan to play beach volleyball, wear it under a rash guard. For lounging, poolside photos, and walking the shore, it’s a solid pick.
Love this. It can be worn with shorts, skirt, jeans.
@Tcurranp Thanks! I’m glad you found it versatile. The flowy cut really does layer well with shorts or a skirt for a beach-to-cafe look.
